Bill says being a hot dog isn’t a talent.

Though I disagree, there are a lot of other people on campus who have real talents. I know because I watched them.

And soon, you can too. The annual Thanksgiving talent show Thursday will feature some of the finest talent on campus, hand-picked by yours truly and her seven closest friends.

“This is one of the few times that students have a chance to show off their talents to fellow students, community members, and visiting family as well,” Bill Short-Miller said.

Bill, Bill, Norma, Bill, Norma, Norma, Bill, and I are very excited to host this year’s talent show: “Late Night with the Bills and Normas.” The show consists of musical acts, skits, guest appearances and some secret surprises.

Sophomores Jordan Stoltzfus and Clay Axness are making their talent show debut this year in their comedy skit.

“Me and Clay wanted to do something for the talent show last year but never got to it,” said Stoltzfus. “We wanted to do something to make people laugh”

The Bills and Normas have been in charge of the Thanksgiving talent show since the late 1990s, but have had a presence on campus since the 1980s.

After hours of planning, filming, and practicing, the talent show should display the mission of the Bills and Normas – to educate and entertain the campus community through the use of fun, wit, and comedy.

The talent show starts at 9:45 p.m. in the Hesston Mennonite Church sanctuary.
