Cursed village shares experience with community in Hesston’s fall play, “Fools”

Hesston College Performing Arts presents the fall play, “Fools” beginning this week with a soft open for HC students Wednesday evening, with additional performances throughout the weekend.

Show times:

7 p.m. Oct. 27, 28 and 29, and 2 p.m. Oct. 30.

The play, written by Neil Simon and directed by Rachel Jantzi, features these 11 cast members who commented on their roles, their experiences preparing for opening night and their amusement toward the ridiculous but lovable townspeople of Kulyenchikov.

The play runs 90 minutes excluding intermission, and is suitable for all viewers.

Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets can be purchased through the Hesston College Bookstore in person, by phone at 620-327-8105 or online. Purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Tickets will also be available at the door 45 minutes prior to show time and are subject to availability.
