Four winners from the Words Alive ! writing contest will read their original work during Friday’s forum. The Writing Fellows Program publicized the event with the following announcement:

We are pleased to announce the Hesston College Words Alive ! award recipients: Nathan Peters, Anastasia Delgado, Jon Steele, Savannah Mitchell, and a writer who wishes to remain anonymous.  Their works range from a critical review of comic book characters to humorous satire to personal narratives.  We are thrilled to have received more than 20 submissions and are committed to holding more public readings.  We have many talented writers on campus whose work deserves to be heard.  Thank you to all who submitted their work.  Keep writing.

This Friday’s forum is hosted by the Writing Fellows Program and will showcase the work of these particular five writers. We hope to see you Friday, March 8, 11:00 a.m., Hesston Mennonite Church.

Congratulations, Nathan Peters, Anastasiz Delgado, Jon Steele, Savannah Mitchell, and anonymous!
